DESCRIPTION:We are excited to invite your child to our Magnified VBS this summer from June 19-22! During this fun-filled week\, kids will discover how to magnify God through the beauty of creation and how their unique gifts can reflect God’s greatness. \nEach day\, kids will explore a new Bible story that reveals an amazing truth about God’s care\, love\, forgiveness\, and faithfulness through Bible study and snack time. But the fun doesn’t stop there! Kids will also dive into hands-on breakouts where they can explore their interests and learn how to magnify God through their hobbies and talents. \nMagnified will be from 9:00AM-12:00PM\, Thursday-Saturday\, and will wrap up Sunday\, June 22 at 9:00AM and 11:00AM during our regular Sunday Services. \nMagnified is open for rising Kindergarteners through 6th graders. This will be a drop-off event and all volunteers will be background checked. \nRegistration is $5 and each child will receive a t-shirt for the weekend. \nIf you’d like to volunteer for our VBS\, you can get more information here.

DESCRIPTION:Join us for our 4-day VBS this summer from June 20-23! We will dance\, sing\, play games\, do crafts\, have a snack and PARTY everyday\, celebrating the Good News of Jesus! VBS will be from 9am-12pm on Thursday-Saturday and will end on Sunday at 9am and 11am\, during our regular Sunday Services. VBS is open for rising Kindergarteners thru those just finished 5th grade. This will be a drop off event and all of our volunteers will be background checked. It is $5 to sign up your child and they will receive a t-shirt to wear for the weekend! We hope to see you at the party!

He is the Owner and Co-founder of Finding Solutions Counseling Centers with office locations in the DC metroplex. Dr. Moorman is passionate about helping individuals understand their current life stage\, define their goals\, and embark on a journey of positive change. \nPastor Roy Dowdy \n \nAs Care and Counseling Pastor\, Roy oversees the Assimilations Team\, which encompasses the Connections\, Hospitality\, Counseling\, Outreach\, and Care Teams\, as well as our eGroup system. He first joined Expectation’s staff as Children’s Ministry Pastor in 2002 before leaving in 2010 to plant a church in Burlington\, Ontario. He accepted an invitation to rejoin the staff in 2015 as our Care and Counseling Pastor. Roy has earned dual Bachelor’s Degrees in Bible and Music as well as a Master’s Degree in Family and Marriage Therapy. He holds an inactive membership as a Registered Psychotherapist in the Province of Ontario and is an Affiliate Member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy. He’s worked as a pastoral counselor for 11 years and licensed clinical counselor for 5 years. He is working toward completing the hours required for Clinical Membership with AAMFT. His practice focuses on families\, couples\, and individuals working from a Family Systems perspective with a faith-based approach.
